Do you think you would have ended up in this industry even if you weren’t on YouTube?
I definitely think I wouldn’t have. I would not be interested in this industry at all. The only real reason why I wanted social media marketing jobs was because some companies didn’t know about social media. I knew about it and it’s so interesting working on the behind the scenes of it. You know what makes a campaign successful and it’s really easy just to look at it and be like, “wow, so that’s how they do it”.
People think that all social media marketing jobs are just people posting instagram photos which at the end of the day, it’s like that is a big part of it but it is so much more. An example I have from my social media marketing jobs was that I plan out a whole year’s worth of pictures that I am going to post for the social media marketing jobs that I am working for. I would research trends for the social media marketing jobs, research the seasonal and cultural likings and trends, and much more. Social media marketing jobs are not as easy as everyone thinks.
It’s just so interesting to see it come about and what makes it successful. I know a lot about this because I’ve already had multiple social media marketing jobs and I know that the way I do things work. I’ve seen a lot of positive results in my social media marketing jobs and they praise me for it.
