You all have competitors, even if you’re in a new space, like let’s say your Uber, and you’re revolutionizing the taxi industry, where your competition would be the taxi industry. So you look at what your competition is doing on social media. Finding competitors is very important in how well your social media marketing strategy goes. Now you know Uber is already around, they’re a multi billion dollar company.
But for example, if we were creating Uber from day one, that would be our competition, you look at your closest competitors, it could be indirect competition is still your closest competitors. You need to identify your competitors to have an easier time with your own social media marketing strategy. You want to see what content is doing well for them, and what content is not and implement these ideas into your social media marketing strategy.
That’ll give you an idea of what you should do more of and what you shouldn’t as much of if you don’t know how to create content.
